In the Art Nouveau tradition. Bent, not built. A sweep of rattan forms the signature oval hoop — layered, confident, structurally alive. Below, a slatted rectangular shelf holds its purpose quietly: a surface for pipe, ashtray, or glass, set on a splayed tripod base that arcs outward with the same fluid logic as the form above.
At home beside a leather chair, a stone fireplace, or a screened porch overlooking water. The worn lacquer and natural rattan speak the language of the cabin, the lake house, the wooded lodge — interiors where patina is not a flaw but the point.
American, in the bentwood tradition of the Belle Époque period. A century of slow evenings, earned and visible.
Good antique condition; wear consistent with age. One available.
